Damn this was a long week; Jersey traffic is no joke. I think I want to propose a law that declares all current residents must be tested on their driving. It seems every morning there’s a new accident. Besides my problems, I know everyone else has their own, so let me recommend a drink for this weekend. I’m going with the drink called Purple Rain. I had this drink at the Hard Rock Café in AC (Atlantic City) and thought this drink was dope.
My writing collaborator claims the drink does not have enough alcohol in it (I told him that not everyone is an alcoholic like he is). So here is a drink to chill out to while you are at the club. Me, I’ll be drinking one of these at The Sand Bar in Jersey City….Enjoy
Recipe for Purple Rain
1 1/2 oz gin
cranberry juice
1 splash Blue Curacao liqueur
1 splash sweet and sour mix
1 splash soda water
Pour gin into an ice-filled highball glass, and fill with cranberry juice. Add blue curacao, sour mix and soda. Shake gently, add more curacao (until royal-purple), and serve.
Here is a stronger version for you alcoholics……..
1/2 oz Tequila – 1/2 oz Rum – 1/2 oz Vodka – 1/2 oz Gin – 1/2 oz Triple sec – 1 oz Chambord raspberry liqueur -Fill Sour mix
