It’s the first day of the week, and I figured I would let you know what songs I am currently playing that you should check out. These songs should help you get through the week; as they are doing for me. I included something for everybody, so I don’t want to hear any complaining.
First song is Lil Wayne feat Corey Gunz- A millie- Song is fresh and new…wayne and corey just go in for the kill on this one. I don’t understand what people complain about in hip hop when songs like this exist. Yes Wayne, and at least he is a mainstream artist that actually stresses lyrics.
Ricky Blaze- Cut Dem off…..this S%*t right here, this S#* right here, fiyahhhhhhh…This song is crazy and definitely has the clubs going crazy. Be on the look out for Ricky Blaze. When this songs plays, you definitely have to do what he says and “Get Up and Dance”. I’ll have more music from him very soon……
Next Up Outkast feat. Raekwon- Royal Flush……What can I say about this one. It’s good to hear Dre rapping and Big Boi killed this one…definitely a good hip hop track. O yeah, they do this one without a chorus.
Chris Brown- Forever…Euro-pop is coming strong to the States. Song will hit in the clubs within the next couple of months. This song is definitely a feel good song.
Wiz Khalifa-”Say Yeah”- recognize the sample, lol. Song definitely for the club, play this extremely loud when the sun is out and “Say Yeah”…..good to hear people in hip hop taking chances.
David Guetta- Love is Gone- What can I say, this song maybe old, but it still knocks, and its starting to pick up radio play…definitely a song for Friday when you get out of work (peep the first post)
Charlie Hustle feat. Rick Ross Runners killing track again. And it feels good to see a New York artist step up and kill a southern joint. Song just gets that blood flowing “Yeah you can get it”…. first time hearing Charlie Hustle but I will be checking for more tracks from him.
Something new by a new artist named Kid Cudi- Day n Nite song is crazy, definitely feeling this new sound. Hook is very catchy (WARNING). I guarantee you that once you play this you will hit repeat without knowing why. Song is different, but worth the click.
Tyga- Coconut juice…..new artist signed to Lil Wayne’s label. He is the cousin to Travis from Gym Class Heroes. His new single is catchy. This song is fun hip hop for the party. (Yea I’ve been in a good mood)
Cassie- Official Girl New single from her forthcoming album. Song sounds like space, lol, but I am feeling this song. Completely different sound than her last song, but hey she growing as an artist. Song was getting mixed reviews but I think it’s cool. Don’t know if it will blow up, but Bad Boy should push this song.
Janelle Monae- Sincerely Jane Yoooooooo this song is crazy. No its not old, but it has that 1940’s feel to it. Check her out she’s dope. She used to be signed to Big Boi’s label, but Diddy got her now……. not saying anymore about her, but you will soon hear about her.
Cherish- Killa I know this song is old but it grew on me, and it’s still growing on the charts. You should know about this song.
After playing these songs throughout the week you should be ready for the weekend. I would wait till Friday and play these extremely loud while on the way home from work.
